Frequently Asked Questions
Renting jewelry for a special event is easy and straightforward. Browse our selection of exclusive custom and diamond jewelry, and choose the pieces that best complement your outfit. Select your desired rental dates for a minimum of three days, ensuring delivery 1–2 business days before your special day. You can reserve the jewelry as far in advance as you like, on a first-come, first-served basis. Your jewelry will be delivered via FedEx or UPS on your selected day, and you can keep it for the chosen rental period. At the end of the rental period, simply return the jewelry using the prepaid and insured shipping label provided.
All new customers are required to set up a user rental account with Borrow Luxury when placing their first order. To maintain a secure marketplace for all users, Borrow Luxury conducts a verification process for all new accounts using a reputable third-party service. Once your account has been verified, it becomes active, allowing you to rent from our extensive collection of luxury jewelry.
To ensure that Borrow Luxury is a safe marketplace, all users are verified when placing their first order. This one-time process includes identity verification. Once the verification is complete, the user account becomes active, and no additional verifications are required thereafter.
If we are unable to verify your identity, any pending rental order will be automatically cancelled.
Depending on the value of the jewelry you wish to rent, a security deposit hold may be placed on your card while the jewelry is out on rent. This hold is not a charge but a temporary authorization, typically ranging from 5% to 10% of the jewelry's market value. Once the jewelry is returned, the hold is removed.
We understand that plans can change. Since each piece of jewelry on Borrow Luxury is unique and becomes unavailable to others once reserved, we accommodate cancellations with advance notice by offering refunds in the form of credits toward future rentals, according to the following schedule:
- Cancel a month before the scheduled shipping date: You’ll receive a 100% refund.
- Cancel with less than one week’s notice: 100% store credit toward another rental.
- Cancel after the order has shipped: No credit is provided.

Certainly! We're happy to arrange jewelry package delivery to your nearest FedEx or UPS location for pickup near your event or hotel. You will need a valid ID or passport that matches the name on the reservation.
Hold on to the boxes your jewelry came in, as you'll need them for the return. When the rental period is over, place the jewelry back into these boxes, seal them inside the provided FedEx or UPS package with the attached return label, and drop the package off at a nearby FedEx or UPS office. Please do not use unattended standalone FedEx drop boxes for returning your jewelry.
If the jewelry is lost or delayed during transit and you cannot accept delivery on time, Borrow Luxury will issue a full refund of the rental fee to your original payment method. In the case of a delay, we will do our best to provide an alternative piece as a substitute, subject to availability.
If the jewelry arrives damaged, take pictures of the boxes it was shipped in and of the pieces, then reach out to customer service at admin@trejours.com for support.
Once the jewelry is in your possession, you are responsible for it as if it were your own. If the jewelry is lost or stolen, you will be responsible for covering its listed market price. You may contact your homeowners or renters insurance provider to inquire about temporary coverage for the jewelry, unless you have purchased theft insurance through Borrow Luxury.
Each jewelry piece listed for rent on Borrow Luxury is one of a kind and has its size listed. Please check the size to ensure it fits you. Necklace extenders are available to adjust the length of most necklaces. If you are running late on your order, please let us know right away, as this may affect the next reservation. If you do not return the jewelry item(s) on the return date, we may charge you a late fee equal to the full rental fee for each day the item(s) is late, to cover the costs associated with your failure to return the jewelry on time.
Furthermore, if you do not return the jewelry item(s) within seven (7) days of the return date, you will be charged the full MSRP of the item(s), less the original rental fee previously charged to you.
